ORAL ORDER
The petitioners are before this Court seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representations given by the petitioners at Annexures-C, D

and E wherein it is stated that in the Malai Mahadeshwara Temple a certain section of the people belonging to the Uppara community have rendered exclusive service to the deity by performing certain functions. It is stated that Sri.Moogappa, Smt.Ramavva and their lineage have rendered such service to the duty, and therefore, in the new museum that is being constructed in the hills, appropriate information pertaining to the services rendered by Sri.Moogappa, Smt.Ramavva and their successors should be depicted in the museum. 2. In the considered opinion of this Court, unless the petitioners are able to point out to any provision of law which confers any right in favour of the petitioners and a corresponding duty cast for the respondents, such specific directions can be given by this Court. However, having regard to the contentions raised in this writ petition and the averments made in the representations given by the petitioners at Annexure-C, D and E, the respondent No.2- Sri.Malai Mahadeshwara Kshetra Development Authority,

more particularly, its chairman and the authorities concerned, are requested to consider the representations given by the petitioners. If it is found that certain persons have rendered yeoman service in the temple and to the deity, appropriate mention should be made in the museum, if the museum were to depict the services rendered by various persons to the temple and its deity.
