The only prayer made by counsel for the petitioner is to direct the respondent no.2-Commissioner, Jhansi Mandal, Jhansi to take a final decision on the appeal filed by the petitioner being Appeal/Case No. 173 of 2025, Computerized Case No.C- 202506000000173 (Janka Devi Vs. District Supply officer, Jhansi) under Clause 13 (1) of the U.P. Essential Commodities (Regulation of Sale and Distribution Control) Order, 2016. 2. It appears from perusal of the record that against the order dated 22.01.2025 passed by the District Supply Officer, Jhansi the appeal in question has been filed by the petitioner which is still pending consideration. The appeal was entertained by the respondent no.2 on 10.02.2025. From perusal of the record it is clear that immediately after appeal was entertained petitioner has approached this Court hence the Court is of the opinion that this is not a fit case to issue a mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to decide aforesaid appeal expeditiously. 3. However, in the interest of justice, respondent no.2- Commissioner, Jhansi Division, Jhansi is directed to decide the aforesaid appeal expeditiously strictly in accordance with law and without granting unnecessary adjournment unless there is no legal impediment.
