The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Karra P.S. Case No. 44 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No.498 of 2024(A), for the offence under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Smt. Vidyawati Kumari, learned S.D.J.M., Khunti. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 1092/2025. On 26.04.2024, batteries were stolen from BSNL Tower, situated in village Jabra. It appears that on the pointing out of this petitioner, godown of Zakir Ansari was raided from where stolen batteries were recovered. It further appears that petitioner is an accused of as many as 18 cases of similar nature. Considering the criminal antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
