Heard the parties.
2. Both these bail applications arise out of the same police case. Accordingly, both these cases are being tagged together and disposed of by a common order.
3. The petitioners have been made accused in connection with Pakur Muffasil P.S. Case No. 204 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 127(2), 103(1) & 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Pakur.
4. On 21.09.2024 at about 07:00 P.M., the petitioners alongwith co-accused persons intercepted the brother of the informant namely, Mithu Sheikh and assaulted him, due to which, he succumbed to his injuries.
5. It was submitted that there is general and omnibus allegation against the accused persons including these petitioners. It was further submitted that similarly situated several co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court as well as co-ordinate Bench of this Court earlier.
6. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, named above, are
directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Pakur in connection with Pakur Muffasil P.S. Case No. 204 of 2024.
