Mazumdar, Sr. Advocate Mr. Rohan Mazumdar, Advocate For the O.P-State: Mrs. Priya Shrestha, Special P.P. --- 03 / 17.03.2025 Heard the parties. 2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Satbarwa P.S. case no. 122 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 103 (1) and 238 (a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Palamau. 3. On 15.10.2024 at 7.00 p.m., son of the Informant Sakendra Sao was murdered by unknown persons. It is alleged that suspicion has been raised upon the co-accused Baby Devi who was having illicit relationship with the husband of the Informant that she might have hand in committing murder of the deceased. 4. Learned Special P.P has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that on the basis of confession of the father of the deceased, axe which was used in committing murder of the deceased was recovered. However, on specific query whether any incriminating article was recovered on the pointing out of the petitioner, she relied in negative. However, she submitted that the petitioner has confessed his guilt. 5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Palamau in connection with Satbarwa P.S. case no. 122 of 2024.
