Petitioners were engaged on contract in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy/Prosthetics & Orthotics Departments of erstwhile Dr. Sushila Tiwari Forest Hospital Trust in the year 2006. Dr. Sushila Tiwari Forest Hospital Trust was taken over by the State Govt. and it became Govt. Medical College w.e.f. 1.5.2010. By means of this writ petition, petitioners have sought the following reliefs: “A. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari to quash the impugned order dated 21.3.2016 whereby representation of the Petitioners has been rejected. B. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to consider claim of the petitioners for regularization on the posts held by them, in view of Rules of 2013 with consequential benefit. C. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents not to curtail the facilities provided to the Petitioners towards accommodation etc.” 2025:UHC:4686-DB 2 2. Having regard to facts and reasons pleaded in the writ petition, writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioners to make representation to competent authority, if they are still continuing in service. If petitioners make representation within two weeks from today, the same shall be considered in the light of applicable regularization rules and decision thereupon shall be taken by competent authority within four months thereafter.
