The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Torpa P.S. Case No. 69 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No.29 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 326(F)/3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Section 17 of the C.L.A. Act, pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Khunti. On 27.11.2024 at about 5:00 P.M., unknown extremists came to the work site of the informant and set ablaze several vehicles, which were parked there. It was submitted that the name of the petitioner has come in confession of the co-accused. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioner has got criminal antecedent. Considering the fact that there is no cogent material against the petitioner on the record, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Khunti, in connection with Torpa P.S.
