The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Potka P.S. Case No.26 of 2025, for the alleged offences registered under Sections 336(3) and 318(4) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 pending in the Court of learned J.M., 1st Class, Jamshedpur. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner happened to be the travel agent and the vehicle in question for gain was taken on agreement by accused No.1 and accused No.1 has engaged the said vehicle with the agency of the petitioner. He further submits that the petitioner is not named in the FIR. He then submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph No.17 of the petition. 2025:JHHC:35539 --2-- A.B.A. No. 6727 of 2025 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer and submits that the allegations are there against the petitioner of forcefully taking away the vehicle. 5. Considering that in the FIR itself it has been stated that the vehicle was handed over to accused No.1 and the petitioner is not named in the FIR and it has been pointed out that the said vehicle was being hired through the agency of the petitioner and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph No.17 of the petition, I am inclined to provide anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from today, and in the event of his surrender/arrest, the petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned J.M., 1st Class, Jamshedpur in connection with Potka P.S.
