By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioners have prayed for following substantial reliefs: "(i) a Writ of mandamus, commanding the Respondent Authorities, especially respondent no. 4 to refix the pay/ salary increment of the petitioners from 01.01.2022 instead of 01.07.2022 along with arrear, in accordance with law within short stipulated period." 2. Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner should approach the authority competent in the first instance, according to him the respondent No. 4 is the competent authority in the matter. 3. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with direction to the to the petitioner to move representation before the respondent No. 4 within a period of four weeks from today and in the event any such representation is made, respondent no. 4 is directed to consider and dispose of the same, strictly in accordance with law within a further period of two months. 4.
