1. Prayer in the present petition has been made for directing respondent No.2 to conduct investigation on the Complaint of petitioner dated 13.02.2025 (Annexure P-7) against respondent No.3, who is a serving Inspector with Punjab Police and under whose influence the petitioner is likely to be dispossessed from his land in violation of procedure established by law. Further prayer has been made for directing respondent No.2 to protect the petitioner from illegal dispossession from the suit property at the hands of respondent No.3 by misusing his power and position in connivance with respondents No.4 to 6.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has reiterated his
submissions that he has a threat from respondent No.3, namely, Amanpal POOJA SHARMA 2025.04.05 17:55 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CRM-M-16199-2025 -2- Singh Virk. Vide order dated 26.03.2025, this Court had summoned respondent No.3, who is present in person in the Court.

The Court has interacted with learned counsel for the petitioner as well as with respondent No.3, namely, Amanpal Singh Virk, who has submitted that he had purchased 2 ½ acres of land through a valid sale deed. He submits that the allegations regarding any threat as alleged against him are totally false and frivolous as he is responsible police officer and would not resort to any action which is not recognized under the law.
4. In view of the same, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to pursue his remedies in case any further cause of action accrues as available to him under the law. It is further directed that respondent No.3 would abide by the undertaking given before this Court.
