GP FOR PANCHAYAT RAJ RURAL DEV (AP) The Court made the following: 4 THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE VENKATESWARLU NIMMAGADDA WRIT PETITON NO.1268 OF 2020 ORDER: The present writ petition is filed declaring the action of the respondents in issuing G.O.Ms.No.137, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development (E&R) Department dated 11.01.2020 as illegal and arbitrary. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner(s) and learned counsel for the respondents. 3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that pursuant to the G.O.Ms.No.137, dated 11.01.2020, the Kalathur Gram Panchayat was bifurcated into Kalathur Gram Panchayat and Gudulavaripalem Gram Panchayat. Thereafter, the respondents also conducted elections in both the Gram Panchayats. Therefore, the cause in the present writ petition does not survive for further adjudication and the matter becomes infructuous. 4. Recording the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
