Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No.772 of 2025 arising out of Dasamfall P.S. Case No. 13 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No.2317 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 103(1) and 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned A.J.C.-XII, Ranchi. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 842 of 2025 by order dated 03.04.2025. In the night of 06.07.2024, the son of the informant was murdered by unknown persons. During the course of investigation, it transpired that petitioner was having illicit relationship with the wife of the deceased. Subsequently, it appears that petitioner was apprehended and, on his confession, murder weapons were recovered.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is no report to suggest that weapons which were recovered were used in committing the murder of the deceased. It was further submitted that charge has been framed in this case and the petitioner is in custody since 08.07.2024. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. Learned trial court shall expedite the trial.
