( 2025:JHHC:36936 ) IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 10650 of 2025 ------- Md. Israfil @ Guddu Mian, aged about 43 years, son of Md. Israil, resident of village Gumo Mica Nate, Jhumri Telaiya, P.O. & P.S. Telaiya, District Koderma. …... …. Petitioner(s) Versus The State of Jharkhand .…. …. Opp. Party -------- CORAM : HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH -------- For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Randhir Kumar, Advocate For the State : Mr. Arup Kr. Dey, A.P.P -------- 02/ Dated 09.12.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Jainagar P.S. Case No. 157 of 2025, for the offence under Section 310(2) of B.N.S., 2023, pending in the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Koderma. During the intervening night of 2/3.07.2025, dacoity was committed in the house of the informant. Unknown dacoits looted jewelries and other articles from there. During the course of investigation, some of the looted jewelries were recovered on the pointing out of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is neither named in the F.I.R nor he was put on T. I. parade. It was further submitted that the recovered jewelries have not been put on T. I. parade. Learned A.P.P. on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioner is accused in as many as 28 cases. Considering the fact that some of the looted articles were recovered on the pointing out of the petitioner and petitioner has got criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected. (Ambuj Nath, J.) December 09, 2025 BS/- Uploaded on 10.12.2025
