By means of this application, the Petitioner has sought for the intervention of this Court for a direction to the Opposite Parties to render police help to the Petitioner. 3. Having regard to the allegations made in the complaint, the IIC, Lalbag Police Station is directed to consider the application of the Petitioner and in case there exist a threat perception to the life and property of the Petitioner, adequate security arrangement be made in accordance with law subject to availability of contingency in consultation with the DCP, Cuttack. In the event it is decided to provide protection by police personnel assessment be made as to the cost of deputation of police personnel and upon deposit of the required charges on such assessment in advance protection be provided for such period as would deem proper.
