This contempt proceeding has been filed for initiating contempt proceedings against the opposite parties alleging non-compliance of order dated 08.04.2024 passed by this Court in W.P.(S) No.177 of 2023. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been reinstated, but belatedly. He has also submitted that the petitioner is entitled for back wages until the order passed in writ petition i.e. on 08.04.2024 and full wages thereafter, during the period when the order of the writ court was not complied. Only three months’ time was granted to the opposite party to comply the order in the writ petition. 2025:JHHC:34052 2 4. Learned counsel for the opposite party has opposed the prayer and has submitted that the petitioner has been reinstated on 14.10.2025 with continuity of service, if the petitioner has any grievance in connection with back wages or any monetary benefit, he may raise his grievance as may be permissible under law, but so far as the present proceeding are concerned, the order of this Court has been complied. 5. Considering the aforesaid submission, this Court is not inclined to enter in to the dispute with regard to the quantum and the period of wages/back wages. 6. Accordingly, this Court is not inclined to proceed any further in this contempt proceedings which is hereby dropped. 7. However, if the petitioner has any grievance in connection with quantum of wages/back wages, he may raise his grievance as may be permissible under law.
