learned counsel for the State.
2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Pakur (T) Case No. 231 of 2025, registered under sections 21(a), 22(a) of NDPS Act, pending in the Court of learned Principal Sessions Judge-cum- Special Judge, N.D.P.S., Pakur.

Mr. Rajeeva Sharma, learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and the name of the petitioner has come in the confessional statement of the apprehended co-accused from whom eight packets of brown sugar were seized and the said recovery is intermediary. On these grounds, he submits that the petitioner may kindly be provided privilege of anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and submits that the name of the petitioner has come in the confessional statement of the apprehended co-accused.

Considering that alleged recovery is not from the petitioner and the name of the petitioner has come in the confessional statement of the apprehended co-accused, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the above named, petitioner is directed to surrender

before the learned court within four weeks from today and in the event of his surrender / arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000/- (twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Principal Sessions Judge- cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S., Pakur, in connection with Pakur (T) Case No. 231 of 2025, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 482 (2) of B.N.S.S, 2023.
