JUSTICE SANJIV BERRY Present:- Mr. Sidhant Vermani, Advocate for the petitioner. ***** SANJIV BERRY, J.(ORAL) By way of present petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, the petitioner has sought transfer of investigation in case FIR No.27 dated 23.02.2025 registered under Section 21 of NDPS Act (Section 29 of NDPS Act added later on) at P.S. A Division, Amritsar, to the Central Bureau of Investigation or any other independent investigating agency. 2. It is, inter alia, contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that feeling aggrieved with the investigation carried out, the petitioner had moved the representation dated 09.03.2025 (Annexure P-5) to respondent No.3 but till date no action thereon has been taken. He submits that for the purpose of the petition, the petitioner will be satisfied if appropriate directions are issued to respondent No.3- Commissioner of Police, Amritsar City, Amritsar, to consider and dispose of the representation dated 09.03.2025 (Annexure P-5) in accordance with law in an expeditious manner by giving opportunity of being heard to the petitioner as well. 3. After hearing the respective submissions and perusing the record, without commenting on the merits of the case and considering the limited request made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to No.3-Commissioner of Police, Amritsar City, Amritsar, to consider and dispose of the representation dated 09.03.2025 (Annexure P-5) in accordance with law in an expeditious manner after giving opportunity of being heard to the petitioner. 6.
