M RAVINDRA The Court made the following: ORDER: SmtB.Sreeteja, learned counsel, representing Sri G.VijayaSaradhi, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the State has preferred appeal against the acquittal of respondent Nos.1 to 4 for the alleged offence under Section 498-A of IPC vide Criminal Appeal No.510 of 2008, that appeal was dismissed on 10.09.2014 and this revision has become infructuous and requested to dismiss the revision petition. 2. Now, the learned counsel for the petitioner has fairly conceded the legal position. The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India inK.Rama Chandran v. V.N.Ranjan and another1,held that if the judgment was rendered final by the Division Bench of the High Court then there could not be any subsequent order to the contrary by the Single Judge even if the fact of the pendency of the Revision was not brought to the notice of the Division Bench. 3. In view of the above law laid down by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, nothing survives in this case. Therefore, the Criminal Revision Case is dismissed. No order as to costs.
