Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:94137 Court No. - 74 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 9912 of 2025 Petitioner :- Smt. Nisha And Another Respondent :- State Of Up And 5 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Mool Chandra Mishra,Subhash Chandra Tiwari Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Saurabh Srivastava,J. 1. Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of State-respondents. 2. By means of the present writ petition, a direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to interfere in peaceful marital/live-in life of petitioners, has been sought. 3. At the very outset, learned Standing Counsel, on the basis of instructions so received, which is taken on record, submitted that petitioner no.1 along with her parents submitted an application before the concerned Police Officer stating that they are not having any problem and are living peacefully. Parents of both petitioners have also no problem arising from the solemnization of the marriage between petitioner no.1 and petitioner no.2. Hence, prayer made in the instant petition is of no avail. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition is consigned to record. 5. It is made clear that the protection granted earlier to the petitioners is hereby discontinued and extension shall be subject to fresh assessment made by concerned police authority.
