The Court made the following order:
This Contempt Case is filed under Sections 10 to 12 of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 against the respondents for willful disobedience of the order dated 24.01.2024 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.735 of 2024. Sri Basha Shaik, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that pursuant to filing of this Contempt Case, the respondent authorities have disposed of the ROR Appeal filed by the petitioner. On the other hand, Sri Nagaraju Naguru, learned counsel for respondent Nos.2 and 3, while reiterating the contents of the counter affidavits of respondent Nos.2 and 3, admits that there is some delay in disposing of the appeal filed by the petitioner.
They submit that the sole appellant has died and the legal representatives of the deceased appellant could not be brought on record in time, as such, the said delay was occurred, however same was neither wanton nor due to willful disobedience on the part of the respondents. Hence, prayed to close the Contempt Case. In view of the above, since the respondents have complied the orders of this Court and have also explained the delay satisfactorily, this Court is inclined to close the Contempt Case. Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any in the Contempt Case, shall stand closed. ___________________________ JUSTICE RAVI CHEEMALAPATI 11.07.2025 MP
