ORAL ORDER
The petitioner who is the mother of Saravana.G, the convict prisoner having CTP No.12486, is before this Court aggrieved of the rejection of the application filed by the petitioner who sought for emergency parole of her son, at the hands of the Chief Superintendent, Central Prison, Parappana Agrahara, Bangalore.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that along with the petition copy, an invitation card has been produced at Annexure-C. It is submitted that the convict’s

sister is getting married on 24.01.2025 and therefore this Court should issue direction to the respondent authorities to grant parole to the petitioner.

When the matter had came up for preliminary hearing this Court had directed the learned Additional Government Advocate to secure instructions from the respondent as to whether the petitioner was earlier given parole and if so, on what ground. Learned Additional Government Advocate submits on instructions that earlier no parole was granted to the convict Sri Saravana.G.
4. Having regard to the averments made in the writ petition and in view of the marriage of the prisoner’s sister, this Court deems it fit to direct the 1st respondent to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of parole.
5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1-Superintendent of Central Prison, Parappana Agrahara, Bangalore, to grant emergency parole for a period of 15 days in respect of

Sri.S.Saravana, CTP.No.12486, commencing from
22.01.2025.
6. The respondents No.1 and 2 shall stipulate strict conditions as are usually stipulated, to ensure return of the detune to the prison and that he shall not commit any other offence during the period of parole.
7. Registry is directed to communicate this order to respondent Nos.1 and 2, by way of electronic mail, forthwith.
