In this writ petition, the petitioners are praying for upgradation of their pay in the pay scale of Rs.9,300 – 34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/-. The petitioners are further praying for revision of the pay scale w.e.f. the date of appointment and also for payment of arrears thereof. 3. It is the case of the petitioners that in view of Resolution as contained in Memo No.3589 dated 17.12.2007 (Annexure-5 to the writ petition) and Resolution dated 28.02.2009 (Annexure-6 to the writ petition), the petitioners are entitled to get the relief. 4. Learned counsel representing the petitioners submits that similarly situated employees have also been extended the said 2025:JHHC:35807 3 benefits in other Department of the State, considering the order of the High Court, thus the case of the petitioners also needs to be considered. 5. Learned counsel representing the respondents submits that if the petitioners file their respective representation before respondent No.2 – The Secretary, Department of Finance, Government of Jharkhand, their case will be considered and if is found that the petitioners are entitled for the benefits, their claim should be extended. 6. Considering the aforesaid submission, I direct the petitioners to file their respective representation annexing all the relevant documents before respondent No.2 – The Secretary, Department of Finance, Government of Jharkhand, within four weeks. 7. On receipt of such representations, the respondent No.2 will decide the case of the petitioners, within six weeks. If the petitioners are found entitled for the reliefs, the same should be extended to them within two weeks thereafter. 8. If any part of the claim / representation of the petitioners is rejected, the reasons thereof must be communicated to the petitioners within the aforesaid period. 9.
