1. This petition under Section 528 of the BNSS, has been filed by the petitioner for extension of time to deposit the fine amount of Rs. 96,000/- as per order dated 06.08.2024 passed by this Court in CR.R. No. 458/2015.

This Court, vide order dated 06.08.2024, while partly allowing the revision petition and reducing the sentence of the petitioner to the period already undergone by him, had directed the petitioner to deposit the compensation amount of Rs. 96,000/- as has been awarded to the complainant, and had granted two month’s time from the date of passing of the order for depositing the said amount. Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the direction issued by this Court regarding the payment of fine amount of Rs. 96,000/- could not be complied within stipulated time of two months. As the petitioner not well versed with the legal proceedings and neither he was advised by his counsel to deposit the amount within a period of two months from the date of order, bu the petitioner on his own immediately went to the Court to deposti the compensation amount as soon as arrangement was made. Hence, he prays that the time period for depositing the fine amount may be extended.
4. The prayer made by the petitioner appears to be reasonable. Hence, the petitioner are granted further two weeks and no more time from today to deposit the said amount as was ordered by this Court on 06.08.2024 in CR.R. No. 458/2015.
5. Accordingly, this Cr.M.P. stands disposed of.
6. Registry is directed to send a certified copy of this order to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance forthwith. Sd/-
