(Oral) This is a petition under Section 528 of the BNSS for issuance of a direction to restrain the official respondents from conducting multiple inquiries on the same very allegations when on two occasions the allegations have been inquired into. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he will be satisfied in case a direction be issued to respondent No.5 to look into the representation dated 1.8.2023 (Annexure P-3), within a time bound manner. Without adverting to the merits of the case and in view of the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioners, respondent No.5- Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar is directed to look into the representation dated 1.8.2023 (Annexure P-3) and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order. The order so passed in the said complaint shall be communicated to the petitioners within a period of one week thereafter. The present petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
