Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this petition, the predecessor in interest of the petitioners/defendants has assailed order dated 29.06.2022, passed by learned Civil Judge, Court No.8, Shimla, H.P., in terms whereof, application filed by the petitioners, 1Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
2 2025:HHC:40976 under Order VII, Rule 11 of the Civil Procedure Code (hereinafter referred to as ‘CPC’), for rejection of the plaint, was dismissed.
2. When this case was taken up for consideration on the last date, an observation was made by the Court as to whether there is any possibility of the matter being amicably settled between the parties or not, to which the learned counsel for the parties responded that they are not averse to it.
3. Today, petitioner No.1 Smt. Parvati Thakur and respondent Krishan Lal Rongta are present in the Court in person.
4. The Court stands informed that the matter stands amicably settled between the parties in the following terms:- (i) The petitioner shall pay an amount of Rs.3,00,000/- to respondent/plaintiff Sh. Krishan Lal Rongta, on or before 31.03.2026; (ii) On the payment of the said amount by the petitioners/defendants, to the plaintiff, the suit filed by the plaintiff shall stand withdrawn by him.
5. The factum of this amicable settlement between the

This petition is disposed of accordingly, with the observation that in the event of an amount of Rs.3,00,000/- being paid by the present petitioners to the present respondent, before the learned Trial Court or otherwise, on or before 31.03.2026, learned Trial Court shall permit the withdrawal of the suit by the plaintiff. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stand disposed of accordingly.
