THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR ADMISSION, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: Digitally signed by CHANDANA B M Location: High Court of Karnataka - 2 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:22401 CRL.P No. 666 of 2025 CORAM: HON'BLE MR JUSTICE S.R.KRISHNA KUMAR ORAL ORDER In this petition, petitioner seeks for the following relief:- “WHREFORE, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is most humbly prayed before this Honourable court that the Honourable Court may be pleased to quash the complaint, FIR, for the offences punishable under Sections 351, 78 and 79 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023, IN Crime nO.155/2024 pertaining to the East women Police Station, Bangalore, dated: 10/09/2024 now pending on the file of Honourable court of 6th A.C.J.C., Bangalore, as the case was transferred from 11th A.C.M.M., Bangalore, in the interest of justice and equity.” 2. After arguing the matter for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petition may be disposed of as withdrawn by directing the respondent – Police to file a final report as expeditiously as possible and reserving liberty in favour of the petitioner to approach this Court subsequently, if the occasion so arises. The said submissions are placed on record. 3. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of as withdrawn directing the respondent – Police to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of two months from the date of - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:22401 CRL.P No. 666 of 2025 receipt of a copy of this order.
