[2] This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:- “i) Issue rule calling upon the respondents and each one of them, to show cause as to why a Writ of Certiorari and/or in the nature thereof, shall not be issued, for calling for the records, lying with the respondents, for rendering substantial and conscionable justice to the petitioner. ii. Issue rule calling upon the respondents and each one of them to show cause as to why a Writ of Mandamus and/or in the nature thereof, shall not be issued, for mandating/directing the respondents to return back the original copy of pension payment order (for short, PPO) of deceased Hasi Rani Deb in favour of the petitioner within a time frame by this Hon’ble High Court. iii. Call for the records, appertaining to this petition. iv. After hearing the parties, be pleased to make the rule absolute, in terms of i & ii. Above.” [3] Heard and perused the evidence on record. [4] After perusal of the record, it has been seen that the petitioner herein submitted legal notices dated 03.09.2022 and 28.11.2024 through her engaged counsel with regard to releasing of her PPO papers which are pending with the bank but till date the issue has not been resolved. [5] In view of such circumstances, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the concerned-respondent(s) to take decision upon the legal notices dated 03.09.2022 and 28.11.2024 within a period of 01 (One) month from the date of receipt of the copy of this order in accordance with law. [6] With the above observation and direction, this present writ petition stands disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous application(s), pending if any, shall stand closed.
