Jagdish Chand vs. State of Himachal Pradesh and others CMP No. 28877 of 2025 in Ex. Petition No.1157 of 2025 22.12.2025 Present Mr. Ashish Verma, Advocate, for the petitioner. Mr. Rajan Kahol and Mr. Vishal Panwar, Additional Advocate Generals with Mr. Ravi Chauhan, Deputy Advocate General, for the respondents-State. While placing on record communication dated 15.12.2025, issued under the signatures of Divisional Forest Officer, Nurpur Forest Division, Nurpur, enclosing therewith certain documents, Mr. Vishal Panwar, learned Additional Advocate General, states that the mandate contained in the judgment sought to be executed stands duly complied with. Having carefully perused the aforesaid documents, which are taken on record, this Court finds that respondents after having considered the case of the petitioner in light of Surajmani’s case has granted him work charge status retrospectively, but on notional basis. His pay has been also re-fixed. Besides above, Office of Accountant General, Himachal Pradesh has also authorized pension in favour of the petitioner. In view of the above, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the instant application and accordingly, same is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to ensure that consequential benefits, if any, especially pension, if not already paid, shall be paid to the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within a period of one month.
