Heard Sri V.Roopesh Kumar Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 3. The writ petition is filed in the year 2020, alleging that respondent Nos.4 and 6 are interfering with the petitioner's possession. No interim order was passed in the case. 4. From the averments made in the writ petition, it appears that the alleged interference by the official respondents is not in the course of discharge of their official functions but in doing benefit to the unofficial respondent. Officers holding the posts of Mandal Revenue Officer and Inspector of Police at the relevant time may not be the same now. No counter-affidavit has been filed. Moreover, the petitioners do not even contend that the threat of interference continues. No Mandamus can be issued unless the alleged threat persists. Therefore, no mandamus granting the relief sought in the writ petition can now be granted. 5. In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondent Nos.4 and 6 not to interfere with the petitioner's possession of the land. 6. If advised, the petitioners are at liberty to approach the appropriate forum. 7. With the above observations the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
