The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Mayurhand P.S. Case No. 43 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 271, 274, 275, 61(2), 318(4), 338, 336(3) of the B.N.S. and Section 47(a) of the Excise Act, pending in the Court of Sri Edith Horo, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Chatra. 3. On 01.09.2025, Mayurhand Police, on the basis of confidential information intercepted a pick-up van bearing Registration No. JH02AA- 3882 and on search, 105 liters of English liquor were recovered from the said vehicle. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner is the owner of the said vehicle. It was further submitted that the driver of the vehicle, without the consent and knowledge of the petitioner was transporting the seized contranand. It was finally submitted that the charge sheet has been submitted in this case. 5. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Edith Horo, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Chatra in connection with Mayurhand P.S.
