Present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner inter-alia with the prayer to direct the respondent no.2-Licensing Authority- District Magistrate, Sonbhadra to decide the application of the petitioner for grant of Arms License dated 10.10.2018. 2. Pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 07.04.2025, instructions dated 02.05.2025 under the signature of District Magistrate, Sonbhadra is placed by the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the State-respondents, is taken on record. 3. It is argued by the learned counsel for the petitioner that all the relevant material facts has been mentioned while filing the application for grant of fire arms license, but till date no decision has been taken on same. 4. In this view of the matter and also in the interest of justice, respondent no.2-Licensing Authority-District Magistrate, Sonbhadra is directed to take appropriate decision in accordance with law on the application of the petitioner dated 10.10.2018, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. 5.
