Sinha, Advocate ---- 02/22.12.2025 Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as the learned counsel appearing for the State. 2. The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Dhurwa (H) P.S. Case No.280 of 2025, for the alleged offences registered under Sections 127(1), 115(2), 109, 85 and 61 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 pending in the Court of learned 2025:JHHC:38584 --2-- A.B.A. No. 7447 of 2025 C.J.M., Ranchi. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that petitioner No.1 is the mother-in-law, petitioner No.2 is the father-in- law, petitioner No.3 is the brother-in-law and petitioner No.4 is the husband. He further submits that there are general and omnibus allegation against the petitioners of torture. He then submits that there is no allegation of demand of dowry. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer and submits that the allegations are there against the petitioners of torture. 5. Looking into the contents of the FIR it transpires that there are general and omnibus allegation against the petitioners and the petitioner No.1 is the mother-in-law, petitioner No.2 is the father-in- law, petitioner No.3 is the brother-in-law and petitioner No.4 is the husband and in that view of the matter the petitioners are directed to surrender before the learned Court within two weeks after X-mas holiday and the learned Court shall release the petitioners on such terms and conditions or the sureties as the learned Court may deem fit and proper.
