The petitioners have been made accused in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No. 413 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 20/22 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Gumla. 4. On 04.12.2024, at about 02:00 P.M., Gumla Police raided the house of the petitioners and on search, 740 grams of cannabis were recovered from the house of the petitioner Vina Devi, while 430 grams of cannabis were recovered from the house of the petitioner Etwari Devi, while 120 grams of cannabis were recovered from the house of the petitioner Sunita Devi. 5. It was submitted that the seized contraband was not recovered jointly from the possession of the petitioners. It was further submitted that the houses of the petitioners were raided separately and alleged cannabis were recovered from there. It was finally submitted that the quantum of seized cannabis comes within the purview of small quantity. 6. Mr. Bhola Nath Ojha, learned Special P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail, but does not dispute the aforesaid facts. 7. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Gumla in connection with Gumla P.S.
