The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Govindpur P.S. Case No. 53 of 2023 corresponding to S.T. Case No. 27 of 2024 (G.R. Case No.1633 of 2023), for the offences registered under Sections 302/120B /34 of the I.P.C. and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Jamshedpur. Bail Application of the petitioner was earlier twice rejected by this Court. On 05.07.2023, at about 10:15 p.m., the petitioner is alleged to have fired upon the informant and his son, due to which, his son succumbed to his injuries. It was submitted that the informant has not identified the petitioner in the dock. Report regarding the stage of trial, earlier called for, has been received. It appears that all the charge-sheet witnesses have been examined. Considering the nature of allegation and the fact that the trial is at the fag end of its conclusion, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. The learned trial court shall dispose of this case within four months from the next date fixed for recording of evidence. (Ambuj Nath, J.)
