The instant criminal miscellaneous application has been preferred seeking extension of the order restraining arrest passed in favour of the petitioner on 24.01.2025. 2. It is submitted that after passing of the order dated 24.01.2025, the mother of the petitioner passed away, therefore, he could not do the needful, therefore, he prays for extension of the period of interim protection from arrest. 3. In the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, the application is allowed and it is ordered that the order restraining arrest of the petitioner passed on 24.01.2025 shall be effective for a period of further one month in addition to 15 days mentioned in the order.
