The captioned Writ Petition is filed seeking following reliefs: a. Issue a Writ or order direction in the nature of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ quashing the orders/ notice dated:04/10/2024 passed by respondent No.3 vide Annexures-A, A1 and A2 respectively, by allowing the above Writ Petition; b. Direct respondents 3 and 4 authority to restore the disconnected electricity connection to the petitioners properties as prayed under this petition. c. To grant such other relief/s as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the circumstances of the case. Counsel for the respective parties urged several contentions. Heard the arguments and perused the Writ papers with care. 3. Suffice it to note that the BESCOM Authority issued a Communication to the petitioners on 04.10.2024 intimating the petitioners to furnish the documents pertaining to renewal of license within three days, failing which they would take steps to disconnect the power supply. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:26283 WP No. 33884 of 2024 Counsel Sri.H.V.Devaraju., submits that the petitioners may be directed to submit a suitable reply and the authority would consider the same in accordance with the law. Counsel, therefore, submits that an appropriate order may be passed. The oral submission made by counsel Sri.H.V.Devaraju., is placed on record. The petitioners are directed to submit their reply to the communication within two weeks from the receipt of certified copy of this order. Upon receipt of the reply, the authority concerned shall consider the same in accordance with the law. By virtue of the interim order dated:20.12.2024, the electricity power connection was restored. The BESCOM Authority shall not precipitate the matter to disconnect the power supply till the consideration of the reply that would be submitted by the petitioners. Needless to observe the petitioners shall pay the regular consumption charges. 4.
