Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioners were engaged temporarily due to the submergence of Marsoo bridge on 12.06.2007 and their engagement as boatsmen was deemed to have been terminated from when the new bridge was commissioned. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the services of the petitioners came to an end with the completion of the bridge project which has been commissioned long back which is not disputed by the petitioners. Learned counsel for the respondents submit that in case Serial No. 64 2 CM No. 1276/2025 in MA No. 143/2015 representation is made by the petitioners, same will be considered in accordance with law. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to make an appropriate representation to the competent authority.
