The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer: “It is, therefore, most humbly and respectfully submitted that this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow this application and quash the FIR lodged against the present petitioner lodged at Lormi Police Station under Crime No. 507 of 2021.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the present case, the investigation has already been completed, whereupon the final report/charge-sheet was filed before the learned trial Court. It is further submitted that the learned trial Court has already framed charges against the petitioner, and the trial is currently in progress. 4. Learned State counsel concurs with the aforesaid submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner. 5. In view of the above, we do not find it to be a fit case for quashing of the FIR bearing Crime No. 507 of 2021, registered at Police Station Lormi, District Mungeli (C.G.), for the offences punishable under Sections 186, 294, and 353 of the IPC. 6. Accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed on this ground along. However, we hope and trust that the learned trial Court shall make an earnest endeavour to conclude the trial expeditiously, in accordance with law, if there is no legal impediment.
