GP FOR LAND ACQUISITION (AP) The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a writ of Mandamus, declaring the G.O.Ms. No. 285, Revenue (SERIII) Department, dated 01-06-2018 issued by the respondent No.1 according permission to the respondent No.4 to utilize our services on Outsourcing Basis and on payment of minimum remuneration of R.s.15,000/. per Month, the proceedings in Lr.No.1/SERP/HR/2016, dated 25-07-2018 issued by the respondent No.5 directing the respondent No.8 to relieve the petitioners and also directing the petitioners to report before the respondent No.7 for place of posting and also the consequential proceedings in R.C.No. SA4/1167/community surveyor/2018, dated 25-07-2018 issued by 3 respondent No.8, relieving the petitioners from his office and directing the petitioners to report before the respondents No.6 and 7 for further orders as arbitrary, illegal and colorable exercise of power and violative of fundamental rights guaranteed to the petitioners under Article 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India, for the facts and circumstances stated here under. Copies of the G.O.Ms NO.285, dated 24-07-2018 and the proceedings and consequently set aside the same.” 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that the relief sought by the Petitioners has become infructuous since the department has considered the representation of the Petitioners and passed orders. For ready reference, the written instructions are extracted hereunder: “In this connection, it is informed that, in obedience to the orders of the Hon’ble High Court, the Government has directed the CEO, SERP to continue the services of the Community Surveyors in SERP itself those who are not willing to work in Revenue Department. Accordingly, the CEO, SERP has issued orders to the PD, DRDA, Kadapa continue the services of the Petitioners in SERP itself vide Lr.No.1/SERP/HR/2016, dated 31.08.2018. Accordingly, the Project Director, DRDA, Kadapa District has issued orders allotting the work places to the Petitioners to continue in the SERP itself vide Rc.No.1433/HR/2018, dated 08/09/2018.” 3. Sri V.R.Reddy Kovvuri, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that, recording the same, the petition may be disposed of. 4. In that view, the Writ Petition is dismissed as the relief has become infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
