With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard at this stage. 3. Petitioner is serving as Drawing Master at GSSS Samote, Education Block Sihunta, District Chamba, stated to be a sub-cadre area. His case is that on completion of the normal tenure at the aforesaid station, he preferred a 1Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 representation on 23.11.2025 (Annexure P-1) to respondent No.2, seeking transfer to a station of his choice in accordance with the applicable transfer policy. Petitioner’s grievance is that the said representation has not been considered and decided by the competent authority till date. 4. Looking to the limited grievance of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.2/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 23.11.2025 (Annexure P-1) in accordance with law and applicable transfer policy, within a period of four weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
