Raghunandan Rao) Heard Sri L.V.S. Naga Raju, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Sri Y.N. Vivekananda, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. The petitioner, who was working as Grade-ll Stenographer in the Court of Junior Civil Judge, Madakasira, was subjected to an enquiry on the 2. 2 r RRR,J & JS,J W.P.No.30711 of 2024 basis of a report of Junior Civil Judge, Madakasira, in Dis.No.1101, dated 06.09.2011. After completion of the enquiry, the disciplinary authority Prinicipal cum District Judge Ananatapur, by proceedings Dis.No.5362/2018/Admn/Staff, dated 23.08.2018, had held the petitioner guilty of the charges framed against her and awarded punishment of dismissal from in service. 3. Aggrieved by the order of dismissal, the petitioner has filed appeal, before the Hon’ble High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the State of Telangana and the State of Andhra Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (Classification, Control an under Rule 33 of the and Appeal) Rules, 1991, on 14.11.2018. After bifurcation of the combined high Court, the appeal of the petitioner was transferred to this Court on the administrative side. 4. The petitioner has approached this Court with the contention that the 2"'' respondent, who is the Appellate Authority, has not disposed of the appeal filed on 14.11.2018 and the delay in disposal of the appeal, is causing grave and irreparable loss and damage to the interest of the petitioner. This Court finds that the contention of the 5. petitioner merits consideration. A delay of 7 years in disposal of the appeal would damage to the interests of the petitioner and the same requires to be disposed of at the earliest. cause 6. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 14.11,2018 3 RRR,J& JS,J W.P.No.30711 of 2024 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of this order.
