AWARD
This matter was taken up in National Lok Adalat.
2. Mr. Nikil Ranjan, learned counsel for the appellants and Mr. Santosh Kumar, learned counsel for the respondent-Insurance Company along with Mr. Anurag Lal, Assistant Manager, Oriental Insurance Company, Legal Hub, Ranchi are present.
3. The parties have resolved this matter amicably on the certain terms and conditions:
4. The respondent – Insurance Company has paid total amount of compensation to the appellant in compliance of the Award passed by the learned Tribunal.
5. Therefore, both the parties have settled the case on additional compensation amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- (Two Lakhs) in lumsum as full and final compensation to the appellant by satisfying the Award with liberty to right to recovery against the Owner of the Vehicle in question.
6. It is evident that the appellant has already received Rs. 8,78,811/-

with interest.
7. Earlier Award was passed by the learned Tribunal to pay compensation of Rs. 8,78,811/- with interest of 9 % from the date of the admission of the claim application.
8. The Respondent – Insurance Company is directed to deposit the aforesaid amount in the Saving Bank Account of MACT Tribunal, Ranchi within a period of 45 days and the learned Tribunal is directed to disburse the aforesaid amount in favour of the appellants / claimants on proper identification.
9. In terms of the settlement, the instant Miscellaneous Appeal No. 237 of 2017 is allowed and stands disposed of.
10. The parties are informed that the Court fee, if any, paid by any of them shall be refunded.
11. Let a copy of this Award be communicated to the concerned Tribunal.
