The Cr|lm'lnal Petition, under Sect'lon 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, 'ls filed On behalf Of the petitioners/accused Nos.4 to 7 to grant antiCiPatOry bail in connection with crime No.123 of 2024 of Puttaparfhi Town Police station, sri sathya Sai District. ``-HI ? -----i-_- 2. A case has been registered against the petitioners/accused Nos.4 to 7 and others for the offences punishable under Sections 66 and 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2OOO-2OO8. 3. Case of the prosecution is that on 06.08.2024 at 05.OO P.M, the de-facfo complainant lodged a report in Puttaparthi Police Station, stating that some unknown persons created fake Face Book account in the name of fIVaravar,I Madhava ReddyJ, defaming the family members of the Chief Minister Sri Nara Chandra Babu Naidu. 4. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the petitioners are alleged to have liked the posts in the Face Book and except that there are no other accusations as against the petitioners. 5. The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that during the course of investigation, Police added Section 111 (2) of B.N.S. and opposed granting of bail. 6. Heard. Perused the record. 7. A perusal of the record goes to show that the petitioners herein are alleged to have liked the Face Book posts posted from the Face Book account which is in the name of lIVaravar,I Macthava ReddyJ. Except the said allegation, there is absolutely no other accusation as against the petitioners herein. + Sis_ t-=- '\ '\i 8. ln view of the said reasons, this court is inclined to grant i anticipatory bail to the petitioners/accused Nos.4 to 7. 9. Accordingly, in the event of their arrest, petitioners/accused Nos.4 to 7 shall be released on bail on executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) each, with two sureties for the like sum each to the satisfaction of the arresting POliCe Offl'Cials and also on condition that the petitioners shall make themselves available for investigation as and when required and that they shall not cause any threat, inducement or promise to the Prosecution Witnesses. The petitioners shall appear before the station House Officer, puttaparfhi poilce station once in a week i.e. on every sunday between 10.OO a.m. and o5.00 p.m., till filing of the charge sheet.
