This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondent4 in completing the investigation, in filing the charge sheet after recording the statements of witnesses and arrest of some of the accused in Cr. No. 399/2014 of Patamata P.S. dated 10-05-2014, Krishna District (now NTR

District) as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondent No. 4 to complete the investigation and file charge sheet in Cr. No. 399/2014 of Patamata P.S. dated 10-05-2014, Krishna District (now NTR District) within a stipulated time frame.”
2. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that the investigation is in progress.
3. Sri N.Vara Prasad, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit the Court may pass appropriate orders.
4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Police are directed to conclude the investigation in the above crime and file a report in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
