The petitioner has been made accused in connection with NDPS Case No. 21/2025 arising out of Gomoh Rail P.S. Case No. 20/2025, for the offences registered under Sections 8(c) & 20(b)(ii)(C) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge-cum- Special Judge, N.D.P.S., Dhanbad. 3. On 06.08.2025 at about 10:30 A.M., Gomoh Rail police apprehended this petitioner from Train No. 12801 at Gomoh Railway station. On search, a bag containing 25.150 kgs. of cannabis were recovered from there. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner was travelling in general coach and bag containing cannabis was kept by unknown person. 5. From perusal of the typed F.I.R. report, it appears that when the railway police party started checking baggage kept in the coach, petitioner became very nervous and when she was asked about baggage, she stated that bag contains cannabis. 6. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, her prayer for bail stands rejected. 17 December 2025 (Ambuj Nath, J.)
