2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. No. 99 of 2025 arising out of Chandil P.S. Case No. 15 of 2025 for the offences registered under sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge at Chandil.
3. On 28.01.2025 at about 12.30 noon, co-accused Salamat Ansari took away the son of the Informant from his house. Thereafter, he was found murdered. Suspicion has been raised against the petitioner and co-accused persons that they might have committed murder of the deceased.
4. It was submitted that one Firoj Sheikh who is the solitary eyewitness, has not identified any of the co-accused persons. It was further submitted that the petitioner was not put on T.I. Parade. It was finally submitted that several similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this court earlier.
5. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge at Chandil in connection with S.T. No. 99 of 2025 arising out of Chandil P.S. Case No. 15 of 2025.
