With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard at this stage.

Petitioner is serving as Peon-cum-Chowkidar at GMS Tandari, under complex GSSS Bhuthi, Education Block Kullu-II. The case set up by the petitioner is that he is specially-abled suffering from 40% locomotor impaired

permanent disability. He has completed three years tenure at the present place, which falls under the hard area. He has preferred a representation on 01.11.2025 (Annexure P-4) to respondents No.2 and 3 seeking transfer to a station of his preference in view of his having completed normal stay at the present place of posting and extent of disability suffered by him. Petitioner’s grievance is that the aforesaid representation has not been considered and decided by the competent authority till date.

Looking to the limited grievance of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.2/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 01.11.2025 (Annexure P-4) in accordance with law and applicable transfer policy, within a period of four weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner.
The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
