1. In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of directions to the respondents to release the arrears of pay for the period from 30.04.2022 to 30.04.2024 including the revised pay on account of 6th Punjab Pay Commission and Revised Gratuity in terms of judgement dated 09.08.2024 (Annexure P-1), passed by a Division Bench of this Court in CWP-16052-2020.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that at this stage, he will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 10.02.2025 (Annexure P-3) submitted by the petitioner in a time bound manner, in accordance with law.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 10.02.2025 (Annexure P-3) submitted by the petitioner, within a period of 08 weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, by passing a speaking order, in accordance with law. In case the petitioner is held entitled for the benefit, as claimed by him in the present writ petition, the same be also released to the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of 08 weeks thereafter. 05.05.2025
