Petitioner remained unsuccessful in the selection process undertaken by the respondents for appointment of Anganwari Worker at Anganwari Centre Bhapoo-5, Gram Panchayat Bhapoo, CDPO Indora, District Kangra. Her appeal, bearing No.1/2023, against the selection and appointment of respondent No.5 was dismissed by the Additional District Magistrate, Kangra at 1Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 Dharamshala on 12.06.2025. Feeling aggrieved, the petitioner has instituted this writ petition. 3. Learned Deputy Advocate General inviting attention to notification dated 24.08.2023, notifying revised Guidelines for appointment of Anganwari Workers/Mini Anganwari Workers/Helpers under ICDS Programme in Himachal Pradesh, as amended under notification dated 29.02.2024, submits that the petitioner has remedy of instituting second appeal against the order of the 1st Appellate Authority before the Director Women & Child Development, Himachal Pradesh. Admittedly, the petitioner has not availed the remedy of second appeal available to her. This writ petition, therefore, is disposed of, reserving liberty to the petitioner to avail the remedy of second appeal as available to her under notification dated 24.08.2023 as amended on 29.02.2024.
