The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Deoghar (Town) P.S. Case No. 499 of 2022, registered for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 458, 354-B, 385, 386, 427, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Deoghar. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that there are general and omnibus against all the accused persons. He next submits that the other co-accused persons Dilip Kumar Gupta, Sunil Kumar Gupta and Ravi Kumar Gupta have already been provided the privilege of anticipatory bail by the learned Sessions Judge. He further submits that the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner was rejected only on the ground that the petitioner has stalled the process of investigation. He then submits that the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent and disclosure to that effect has been made in para-11 of the petition. 4. Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State has opposed the [ 2025:JHHC:37127] -2- prayer and submits that the allegations are there against all the accused persons of assault and molestation. 5. Looking into the contents of the FIR, it transpires that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner and further the other co-accused persons Dilip Kumar Gupta, Sunil Kumar Gupta and Ravi Kumar Gupta have already been provided the privilege of anticipatory bail by the learned Sessions Judge and the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent and disclosure to that effect has been made in para-11 of the petition, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to surrender before the learned court within three weeks from today and in the event of his surrender / arrest, the petitioner, named above, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000/- (twenty- five thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Deoghar, in connection with Deoghar (Town) P.S.
